Founded by the late great C.C. Chapman in 1915, the Oregon Voter Digest was a monthly publication which, for over 70 years, was the political and financial bible for the state’s leaders. It was a digest of legislation, finance, industry, taxation and public affairs in Oregon, statewide. Politicians, business people and professionals of all kinds found the Oregon Voter Digest an indispensable handbook and guide. It provided a stream of clear, concise and complete information and analysis on public affairs, taxation, business and finance.
Bruce Broussard has been the publisher and owner since 1983. In 1990, Bruce and Norma Broussard started the television portion of the Oregon Voter Digest at Roger’s Community Cable TV. The historical work is archived with the Oregon Historical Society.
